Whether you're visiting the area, relocating, looking for information or if you are a current resident, the GINCC is here to assist you. A recent visitor to the Chamber office said it best when he began talking about living in California.

"I used to think living in a big city meant I knew what it was all about", he said, "I was in the center of what was important. After spending time here (Marquette County), I know now, I had it so wrong."

The GINCC serves Western Marquette County including, but not limited to: Ishpeming, Negaunee, Michigamme, Champion and Republic. We are dedicated to building great businesses, great neighborhoods and great places to experience the U.P.

How lucky am I that the area the GINCC represents has so much to offer? Western Marquette County is home to some of the finest trails for mountain biking, skiing, snowmobiling, and hiking. Its lakes and rivers make for great fishing and boating. The views are breathtaking, the air is clean and crisp, and nature literally surrounds you. But, perhaps even grander than the natural beauty, is the beauty of the people in this particular region. You'd be hard pressed to find friendlier, more gracious, hospitable and giving people anywhere else. Don’t believe me? Come see for yourself!
